I’d researched treadmills for ages and almost went with a incline trainer I’m more of hiker/walker than a runner plus those go up to 40% incline which would be perfect for the iFit guided hikes. Just got this treadmill and it’s basically a 23” android tablet connected to the treadmill.Every workout required a long boot time, stalled programming, or wifi connection problems. One wouldn’t connect to the internet and the other had a bad motherboard. The part that makes me only give 2 stars is the required credit card to activate the treadmill.I have noticed it four times before, too, but it just did it three times in the same workout. But the iFit subscription–which is required to set up more than one user profile–is an astonishing $40/month after the introductory year.Still waiting on roller maybe I’ll get to use it before the summers over.It is incredible.I have been able to train so much more now that I have a treadmill!Pros:I was having knee problems before, and since I have been running on this treadmill, they have felt so much better! It has made a huge difference to switch it up and have the extra support instead of the asphalt all the time. It’s right in my living room! I have no excuses now, PLUS I paid over $1,800 for it! If you can afford to throw away $1,800, you’re a luckier person than I am.Bought this thinking I would be able to run year round rain or shine.Had to rearrange my furniture downstairs because upstairs was out of the question once I saw how heavy and large .I am a fairly big guy and this barely moves even when I’m sprinting.Glad I did, it was supposed to be in the room for him to assemble but it wasn’t, it was in my garage, and he was nice enough to help me carry it upstairs so he could assemble it.The “free assembly” guys that Amazon sent REALLY messed up.Assembly required two persons, parts are heavy and sturdy. Then you have to reset power. However, I have been blown away by quality and functionality of the Commercial 1750.

Our product was faulty. It took a few hours for me to put together, but I did it by myself while holding the treadmill base up against my head… You should have two people for parts. The ability to add flex to the deck has enabled me to run far more often and for more distance than any other i have run on.Amazon assembler came to my house on 6/8/2019.The belt started and stopped abruptly which tweeked my knee – no smooth transition to full stop. The one thing I wish I could do is walk as I browsed the workouts, so my legs could be warming up as I decide what workout to do.It is smoothz spacious, and IFit is addictive.)This treadmill is fantastic.Setting up your treadmill:We had scheduled Amazon Home Services to complete the set up since it was included when we purchased the machine, but because our treadmill arrived a day late we would have had to wait almost a week before they could reschedule so we decided to take on the set up ourselves.I’ve been on the phone with customer support 4 times each time they try to tell me to try this or that and it should fix it.Unlike some people, I do not enjoy working out! My doctor said I really needed to work out, because I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, so we bought it.It is sturdy and heavy too, and has a good touchscreen. My daughter and I have both been using it to train for a half marathon and we love it!! It is sturdy, durable, and very high quality. Also, the image quality is beautiful. It is perfect for the seniors but I love it as well .Nordictrack needs a better app and would love to see video runs versus Google Earth pics on custom runs. But after only 2 weeks of using the treadmill we’re experiencing so many issues, the belt seems to be rubbing leaving all sorts of black dust everywhere, the motor makes horrible loud grinding noises when using incline or speeds above 3 mph, the motor hood seems broken because you can just lift it off and the most dangerous issue is the belt stutters! Imagine running 6-7mph and the belt just stops for a split second. After paying a monthly Y membership for 3+ years, with little to no use by the family, I started researching in home solutions that would be fun and innovative.

Please note that you cannot get monthly ifit because they sell it only as one-year subscriptions– you cannot customize a program for example you increase the duration or intensity of a pre-set programFinal recommendation: if you are a kind of person who want your equipment to be user friendly and don’t like buying t-shirts in Walmart, then I wouldn’t recommend this This is our first treadmill and before purchasing we looked at many different models to ensure we bought one that would be used consistently. It’s a shame because it’s equally awful and avoidable. What surprises me is that this is cheaper than COSTCO.The screen no longer worked, but thankfully it was still under the 1 year manufacturer warranty.I researched this model pretty heavily over a period of several months and decided it was ultimately worth it to pay extra for the Commercial 1750.The rep from Amazon did everything he could to help, but I am ashamed at how poorly NordicTrack manufactured this thing.Excellent treadmill. However, when he left, I found the installment is not very good.Nordictrack agreed to send out a new circuit board replacement to see if it can be resolved.I love the sturdiness of the product and I am enjoying the ifit subscription workouts. But I needed to replace an older treadmill. There are so many options to choose from and I love that the treadmill automatically adjusts as you complete a workout. The internet/computer stuff is a little difficult for an old timer like me.Wet weather.Previously I’d do my best in outdoor runs of 1-3 miles, but pace and focus would become hurdles to distance more than energy. So far I’m really happy with the build and motor.I have had the service team out to my house three different times to try and fix the issue, which each time I have to take time off of work to be home when the technician comes. We love the build of the treadmill; sturdy and the running surface is great. The running surface is nice and wide.
