I bought a five year service plan through Amazon, but was told I had to deal with NordicTrack because it was still under a year. This is the second time I’ve had to take off work to meet the delivery and the second time I’ve had to wait for the service/installation person (Brad, who was wonderful. The treadmill just stopped working and shut down during a workout. For the price I expected to get a quality product and I was very wrong. Now we had to order a new motor.Multiple emails with questions doing diagnostics on what the problem is.1.I didn’t experience the set-up problems described by some of the users because I took advantage of the free assembly offered by Amazon.Unfortunately, it has been a very frustrating experience. That subscription is around $150/year How would you feel if the treadmill said you were running at a 12-minute mile, but you were actually running at a 8:30-minute mile? When I got this treadmill back in May, it worked fine and I trusted it.There were mixed reviews about this product but I decided to give it a try since some of the reviews were a couple years old.The technician set up the treadmill, but the tread belt didn’t move and the motor was frozen and wouldn’t move.I have no idea if NoedicTrack has upgraded these machines since they bought them but I have to say that it’s extremely nice.At first I figured it must be a defective product, but after speaking to a customer service representative and having him listen to the machine on speaker phone they told me this is normal for this machine.I called customer support. There’s a lifetime warranty on the motor but it took four weeks to get a replacement and then have to install it yourself.I can only presume that some of the treadmills are or were a bad batch. The Pros of the unit are that it is a large stable unit that is easy to fold away and rather easy to move into place or out of the way.Nordic Track did replace it and we received it 8 days later.

)Assembly is rough I have carpentry exp.Maybe I had a defective product, but I am not taking chances and will not reorder the same treadmill.Pressed the start button and the motor tried to turn and immediately blew the Tripp Lite isobar and new controller.I would be willing to bet that there are major security issues having this connected to your wifi .For me, a treadmill is a fairly major expenditure.Worst product.I am sure the motor is toasted. Here are the issues I’ve had in the first few days:1.Belt doesn’t move, horrible popping noise from the machine. The fan, although powerful, is useless for my height. We had one issue with the motor out of the box so weren’t able to use it for two weeks but CS sent a new one out and no problems since. The motor is at the front of the unit and if I want to reach the handrails/storage areas/screen, I will kick/step on the motor housing. My sons in law were able to put it together for me in about an hour and a half.It never worked correctly. You have to go through the same questions every use.Once it was put together, I realized that they never sent the wheels for it.I also opted for the put it together service.Clear instructions.I normally run on it for about 40 mins, 3 days/wk.

We got the leg pain once we started using this treadmill.I am older so I am not running on it, but reasonable walking speed with a 3% incline is what I do most mornings.I wish I could return it, it is now a fire hazard so I had to unplug it.The built-in speakers work great and integrated music is a nice plus.Tread motor stopped working early November. This treadmill is very quite and the belt and motor are high end quality. One Delivered with a broken screen monitor.Considering the price, I absolutely got a best buy. When I get lazy to go to the gym, I can always run with no problems. My old treadmill was so much harder to run on.This happens while running the machine at 4.and in 1 hour of walking on trade mil, not one time it gave correct heart rate.It is under warranty for 3 years…I contacted NordicTrack for help and they sent me a replacement controller, which took 14 business days to arrive.I give the credit to the ease of hiking mountains to 9000 ft.The motor broke.Likes: Seems sturdy and the lift/drop down of the running platform is slow rather than a hard, fast drop.00, they’re pro’s at it and can do it easily, my husband is very handy and it took him and my brother hours to put it together.Lost some points because the bottom tray was not easy to install, as the bolts were tough to reach. My only complaint, I just wish the fan was a little lower so it could cool my face directly, but other than that I am very happy with my purchase, and I’m looking forward to winter knowing that I can still continue my workouts. It is also pretty easy to lift/lower once you get into into position.
